The Texas A&M University Health Science Center has been designated as the anchor entity for RHP 8 and RHP 17. The Texas A&M Health Science Center has embraced the legacy of Texas A&M University’s designation as a land grant institution and is committed to the health and well-being of communities. The Texas A&M Health Science Center has a long history of working to ensure exceptional education, superior science and compassionate care through training the next generation of health professionals, the practical application of our research efforts, impacting health policy, offering community educational programs, and providing care where there is little or no access.
It is this ongoing commitment to community, infrastructure, academic and practical expertise, and our experience in the implementation of federal and state policy-driven health initiatives, that makes the Health Science Center uniquely qualified to serve as the anchor for RHP 8 and RHP 17, and drives us to provide the best service to the communities and ensure the greatest benefit to all stakeholders and patients.
About Region 8
Regional Healthcare Partnership 8 (RHP 8) is a nine-county partnership formed in March 2012, and located in Central Texas. The partners consist of Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano, Milam, Mills, San Saba, and Williamson counties. RHP 8 currently has seven hospital providers participating in the Uncompensated Care (UC) program. Twelve participating providers, including hospitals, local mental health authorities and public health departments, are currently implementing Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) projects across the region — several in cooperation with subcontracted community partners.

About Region 17
Regional Healthcare Partnership 17 (RHP 17) is a nine-county partnership, formed on March 14, 2012, and located in the eastern portion of the Central Texas region. The partners consist of Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Montgomery, Robertson, Walker and Washington counties. RHP 17 currently has nine hospital or physician providers participating in the uncompensated care (UC) program. Eleven participating providers, including hospitals, physicians groups, local mental health authorities and public health departments, are currently implementing Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) projects across the region — several in cooperation with subcontracted community partners.
