Learning Collaborative Events

The calendar above shows RHP 17 Learning Collaborative events (green) and Peer Learning Collaborative events (purple).

Regional Events

Throughout the year, RHP 17 will host various learning collaborative events in the region. Events will vary in size and structure, ranging from the two face-to-face events held each year to various webinar or speaker opportunities. Regional events may be co-hosted with Region 8 out of Round Rock, Texas, and/or include participation in activities with our peers in the neighboring Houston region, RHP 3. Additionally, RHP 17 often holds bimonthly calls and webinars to promote learning collaborative activities and encourage sharing and active participation among regional stakeholders.

RHP 8 & 17 Virtual Learning Collaborative Event Series

The RHP 8 and RHP 17 will once again be holding a series of virtual learning collaborative events during for DY10.

The first event, Self-Care & Burnout, was held on May 20, 2021 and was an interactive presentation hosted by Mr. Gustavo Molinar, Mental Health Literacy Specialist, with Mental Health America of Greater Houston.

Mr. Molinar provided an interactive presentation and training on recognizing burnout and implementing self-care. Participants learned about the risk of burnout, how to care for oneself, treat burnout and maintain balance.

Providers needing a copy of the sign-in sheet in order to meet DSRIP reporting requirements should contact  Shawna Jiles.

Work Group Events

The Cohort work group can help promote efficiencies and improve health care delivery and access throughout the region by fostering collaboration on continuous quality improvement efforts. RHP 17 assists in facilitating discussions amongst providers and community partners in order to explore best practices and lessons learned.
